Criteria for submitting an event to Cityspace

Cityspace promote Edinburgh-based events that are characterised by one or more of the following:

  • quiet and silence
  • the use of music/singing simply to support a reflective ambience/environment
  • guided reflection rather than directed activity
  • space for personal exploration; no expectation to directly participate or share personal information
  • no expectation to enter into conversation unless initiated by the participant
  • no requirement for allegiance to worship anything or anyone

Though recognising their validity, Cityspace does not promote events or spaces which are talks, lectures, counselling, formal worship or about encouraging people to join an organisation, church or faith group.
