Retreat in Daily Life ‘Faithful to the Ache’

Description

A spiritual awakening is taking place in the world today. It is an authentic yearning to touch the depths of who we truly are, and it is urging people to seek out ways to rekindle the soul, however they would name their faith. There remains a deep ache for such things as belonging, acceptance, value, security, relationship, happiness and love. We search for these things in a myriad of ways, but what can the spiritual life show us about the ‘ache’ we carry within – and what gifts can the ache bring to our souls?
